Introduction to Filters

Software filters are computer programs which restrict access to a defined list of Internet services.

Filters can guard against access to a limited number of sites. They can be set to stop personal details being divulged, and set time limits for Internet Access. A filter can be set up on your home computer or network. It can be setup to supply different levels of access for individual members of the family. There are many programs available, you will find a list of some of the major ones below.

Please spend the time to read through the material provided in our support section, then do some research to find the filter that is right for your needs.

In the mean time why not enable (turn on) the content filter "Parental Content Advisor" that is included free with Internet Explorer? If you would like to try it out you can click here for instructions on how to set it up.
