Account Control Panel Utility (CPU)

You can now change your password, view your statement and account usage statistics, set auto warning messages or make payments online with our Control Panel Utility. The Control Panel Utility (CPU) enables viewing of bandwidth utilisation reports and error reports via the Internet.

West Australian Networks offer local call Internet access through out Australia (yes including Tasmania). All settings required to connect your PC to our network can be found by clicking on the above link.

What can the West Australian Network Support team actually help with over the phone.

West Australian Networks provide a Customer Support Desk to help you should you have any questions or problems with connecting to the Internet. We also provide a comprehensive support section on this web site including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's). This contains extensive help covering many queries or problems you may have.
Once you are connected, we ask you to check our support section and knowledge base before you call our support desk. We have made the help pages to assist you to solve most of the problems associated with the configuration of Internet related software. We hope that you will find the instructions easy to follow.

If however you are not able to solve your problem following our support pages, please either e-mail or call us. We will be more than happy to assist with your queries.

West Australian Networks Support staff can help you free of charge (members only) with settings for any of the following issues (please note software & hardware related problems need to be referred back to our professional support team where charges apply or to your original product supplier/s):

  • Mail server software (e.g. mDaemon, Exchange, Outlook but check our support pages for help!)

  • Debugging/Problem solving CGI/PERL/HTML (Our Web developers are always willing to help for a fee though)
  • Designing Web Pages & submitting to search engines (Our Web developers are always willing to help for a fee though)
  • Configuration of Linux gateway/firewall machines
  • xDSL routers and modems (if you purchase one off us they are pre configured)
  • Hardware faults
  • Viruses and virus scanning software
  • Windows CE Settings
  • Internal networks / LANs

Most of the time you will be able to find settings for the unsupported software on our web pages or via a search on Goggle .

West Australian Networks provides support for all issues on all platforms, unfortunately we can not do this for free, if you have a problem that is listed in the "professional" help section, please email or call to arrange one of our tech's to sort it out for you. This will incur a charge of $130 per hour inc GST.
